Los Angeles producer at the murkier end of bass music — slow, cavernous dubstep engineered for large rigs and small rooms alike.

Peekaboo is an American producer working in the heavier, slower end of bass music. His tracks tend to be built from sparse, low-frequency sound design — hollowed-out sub-bass, metallic percussion and long stretches of space between hits — rather than the dense, high-energy approach common elsewhere in dubstep.

He became widely known through "Babatunde", a collaboration with G-Rex whose stripped-back arrangement became a reference point for the style, and he has released through labels associated with the American bass underground. His DJ sets lean on the same principles, favouring weight and restraint over speed.
