Rezz is the producer and DJ Isabelle Rezazadeh, from Niagara Falls, Ontario. She began releasing music in her teens and drew early support from deadmau5, whose mau5trap label issued much of her work. Her productions sit at slower tempos than most festival electronic music, built on rolling basslines, dry percussion and repeating synth figures that lean toward the unsettling rather than the euphoric, an approach usually filed under mid-tempo bass. She has released several albums and collaborated with artists across electronic and heavier guitar-based music. Onstage she is recognisable by the light-up goggles she wears, which have become a fixture of her performances and of her audience's own dress.
