Earshot
American post-grunge band formed in 1999 around Wil Martin's voice — heavy, hook-first alt-rock from the era when radio rock still filled arenas.
Earshot formed in the United States in 1999, with singer Wil Martin fronting the band. They arrived at the tail end of the post-grunge boom, when melodic, down-tuned rock still had a reliable home on American radio, and their material leans on heavy guitars paired with clean, sung choruses. Their best-known song, "Get Away," came from their debut album Letting Go and received significant rock-radio play in the early 2000s. The band went through lineup changes and periods of inactivity in the years that followed, with Martin remaining the constant.
