J. Worra is the recording and DJ name of Jamie Sitter, a producer who grew up around Chicago before basing herself in Los Angeles. Her tracks lean on the tech house end of things — rolling basslines, swung drum programming and vocal hooks that nod to the city's house lineage rather than to the harder European strain of the sound.

She has released through a range of dance labels and built her profile mainly through club and festival DJ sets, where she works primarily as a selector rather than a live performer.
