Last Train are a French four-piece from Mulhouse, in Alsace, who formed in 2007 while still at school. They sing in English and play a loud, blues-rooted strain of alternative rock, often stretching songs well past their studio length, with long instrumental builds and passages of feedback and drone.

The band established itself through relentless touring in France and neighbouring countries, and its reputation is tied closely to the live show — dense, high-volume, and physically played. Recorded work has followed a similar path, favouring extended structures and a heavy guitar sound over conventional single lengths.
