Like Moths To Flames formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 2010, built around vocalist Chris Roetter. The group works in a metalcore and post-hardcore vein, pairing harsh vocals and breakdown-driven riffing with melodic clean choruses, and their records have leaned progressively heavier and darker over time while keeping that contrast intact. They have spent much of their existence as a touring band, and are a familiar name within the American metalcore scene that grew up around labels and package tours in the early 2010s.
