NOBRO formed in Montreal in 2014 and built a reputation on loud, unfussy rock songs delivered with a party-band's sense of momentum. The group is fronted by bassist and vocalist Kathryn McCaughey, and the arrangements lean on big riffs, gang vocals and percussion — cowbell included — rather than studio polish.
After a run of EPs, the band released the full-length Set Your Pussy Free in 2023. Their reputation rests largely on live performance, where the songs tend to run short, fast and physical.
