Paranoid Visions are a punk band from Dublin, active since the early 1980s and among the longest-running acts in Irish punk. Their work sits in the anarcho-punk tradition, combining abrasive, fast arrangements with lyrics aimed at Irish politics, the church and social hypocrisy, often delivered through dual male and female vocals. The band operated largely outside the conventional music industry, releasing records independently and cultivating a local scene around them. After a long hiatus they resumed activity, and their later records have included collaborations with figures from the first wave of British punk and anarcho-punk.
