Pulley formed in Southern California in 1994, built around vocalist Scott Radinsky, who pitched in Major League Baseball while fronting the band. Their sound sits in the melodic hardcore and skate punk lane associated with the region in that decade: fast tempos, palm-muted guitar, tight harmonies layered over Radinsky's rough-edged delivery. The group recorded for Epitaph Records and has continued to work intermittently over the years, with a catalogue that spans several albums of that same brisk, tuneful punk.
