Milwaukee third-wave ska vets, still skanking after all these years — horns up, irony nowhere in sight.

Something to Do is a ska-punk band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formed in the 1990s during the third-wave ska boom. The group pairs punk tempos and guitar with a horn section, and has spent most of its existence as a working regional band in the Midwest, playing club and all-ages shows rather than chasing the mainstream visibility some of their contemporaries found.

The band's most recent full-length, Here Comes the Panic, is described by the group as its strongest effort to date. Around it, Something to Do has kept up a steady touring pace, sharing bills with other ska and punk acts including Mustard Plug, Five Iron Frenzy, Mad Caddies, Flatfoot 56 and Stuck Lucky.

Recent singles have come with videos the band has put visible effort into, giving the songs a visual identity beyond the standard club-show promotion cycle. A new record is currently being finished, with a release planned for early 2027, suggesting the band has no plans to slow its output after three decades together.
