Trixie Mattel is the drag persona of Brian Firkus, from Wisconsin, who came to wide attention through RuPaul's Drag Race and later won its third All Stars season. The look is deliberately exaggerated and cartoonish, with heavy blonde and pink styling, and the comedy is dry and self-aware.
Outside of drag television, Firkus is a working musician who has released folk and country-leaning albums featuring his own guitar and autoharp playing, later moving toward synth-based pop.
