Eggy is an American jam band that formed in Connecticut in 2016, with members who met while at university. The group works in the improvisational rock tradition, building long instrumental passages out of composed songs, with an emphasis on melodic development and group interplay rather than sheer volume. Their studio and live recordings draw on classic rock, funk and folk-rock, and like most bands in that scene they vary setlists heavily from night to night.
