The producer behind rage rap's most punishing textures — industrial distortion and detuned synths, now stepping out front himself.

F1LTHY is an American producer best known as a founding member of the production collective Working on Dying, and as one of the architects of the distorted, synth-heavy style that came to be called rage. His beats favour blown-out bass, detuned leads and industrial-leaning textures, and he has worked extensively with artists in the Playboi Carti orbit and the wider underground rap scene that grew around it. In more recent years he has also released material under his own name and performed as a solo act rather than working solely behind the boards.
