SahBabii is a rapper from Atlanta, born Saaheem Valdery, who spent part of his childhood in Chicago before his family moved south. He broke through in 2016 with "Pull Up Wit Ah Stick," a collaboration with his brother Lil Marc released independently and later picked up widely online, and followed it with the mixtape S.A.N.D.A.S.
His delivery is soft and half-sung, sitting low in the mix over sparse, arpeggiated trap production, and his writing leans on animal and nature imagery, wordplay and abrupt comic turns rather than conventional hooks.
