Pooh Shiesty is a rapper from Memphis, born Lontrell Williams, who came up through the city's trap scene and signed with Gucci Mane's 1017 label. His 2020 mixtape Shiesty Season introduced him to a wider audience, with "Back in Blood," featuring Lil Durk, becoming his best-known song. His delivery is deliberately flat and conversational, riding sparse, bass-heavy production without raising his voice, and his hooks tend to be short repeated phrases rather than sung melodies.
