Dublin duo playing electronics like a live band — loops built on stage, drums hit hard, and a crowd that never stops moving.
Le Boom began in Dublin with Christy Leech, who built the project around dance tracks assembled in front of an audience rather than played back from a laptop. Aimie Mallon joined on drums, and the two-person setup, live kit against synths, samplers and loop pedals, is the core of how the act works on stage.
The songs sit close to house and indie-dance, with Leech singing over four-on-the-floor beats and hooks that repeat until the room picks them up. Le Boom built its following through Irish club and festival shows before releasing much recorded material, and the live show remains louder and looser than the singles.
