Sunlit French synth-pop with a producer's ear for a drum sound and a crooner's delivery — Parisian cool at rooftop-party temperature.

Lewis OfMan is the stage name of Lewis Delhomme, born in Paris to a family of artists: his father Jean-Philippe Delhomme is a painter and illustrator, and his grandfather helped found Lancôme. Delhomme learned drums at eleven while living briefly in New York, then played drummer for a Paris band called the Jools before buying his own keyboard.

He began composing on his mother's iPad using GarageBand, releasing his first EP, Disconsolate, as a Bandcamp exclusive in 2014. That year he also adopted the name Lewis OfMan after SoundCloud asked for an artist name and he recalled that his surname translated, via a soccer video game, as 'Of Man.'

His music combines French house and disco touches with soft synth-pop songwriting, favouring bright chords, crisp programmed drums and a light, close-miked vocal delivery in both French and English. That sound carried through the EPs Yo Bene (2017) and Dancy Party (2021) into the albums Sonic Poems (2022) and Cristal Medium Blue (2024).

Delhomme has worked widely as a producer and collaborator, shaping Vendredi sur Mer's debut album and working with Rejjie Snow, Empress Of and Coco & Clair Clair, whose 2022 single 'Misbehave' appeared on Sonic Poems. He has also remixed Superorganism and released 'Highway' with Empress Of.

In 2022 he released 'Move Me', a collaboration with Carly Rae Jepsen, who had discovered his music through a friend's playlist two years earlier; he later supported her on tour. The song grew out of a session he wrote the day after a formative night in Florence.
