Mystic Bill, born Bill Torres, is a house producer and DJ who came up in the Chicago scene and began releasing records in the early 1990s, later relocating to Florida. His productions sit in the acid and deep house traditions associated with the city — raw drum machine tracks, 303 lines and long, functional arrangements — and he has continued issuing new material across labels for decades.
