Gigi Perez is an American singer-songwriter of Cuban descent, raised in Florida. She began releasing music while still a teenager, building an audience online with sparse, guitar-led songs recorded simply. Her writing returns often to grief, family and religious imagery, and her delivery tends to stay low and close to speech before opening up. Her song "Sailor Song" brought a much wider audience in 2024.
