Sumthin Sumthin is a Los Angeles-based producer working in halftime and experimental bass. His tracks are built around heavy sub-bass and sparse, patient arrangements, leaving considerable space between elements rather than filling it, and they draw on dubstep's slower, more atmospheric lineage as much as its aggressive side. He has become a fixture of the American bass circuit, where his sets are noted for their low-end weight and comparatively restrained pacing.
