Twitching Tongues formed in Los Angeles in 2009, built around brothers Colin Young on vocals and Taylor Young on guitar. The band pairs heavy, mid-paced metallic hardcore with doom and alternative metal influences, and is distinguished mainly by Colin Young's clean, low singing voice rather than the shouted delivery common to the style. Taylor Young is also known as a producer and engineer working with hardcore and metal bands out of his Los Angeles studio.
