Austin Carlile is an American vocalist best known as a founding singer of the metalcore band Of Mice & Men, which he fronted through its early albums, and before that as a member of Attack Attack!. His style combined harsh screams with melodic passages, a pairing central to the band's sound during his tenure. Carlile stepped away from Of Mice & Men and from regular touring after complications related to Marfan syndrome, a connective tissue disorder he has spoken about publicly. This project sees him performing the material from that era of the band again.
