Clean-and-scream metalcore from the Rise Records boom, played with more muscle than nostalgia — Phoenix scene veterans who kept the choruses enormous.

Blessthefall formed in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2004 and became one of the more visible bands on Fearless Records during the late-2000s metalcore and post-hardcore boom. Beau Bokan took over lead vocals after the departure of original singer Craig Mabbitt, with bassist Jared Warth handling screamed parts.

The band's records pair harsh vocals and breakdowns with sung choruses and keyboard textures, a formula that placed them alongside contemporaries on the Warped Tour circuit. They have continued releasing albums and touring internationally well past the era that produced them.
