Couch is a band formed by students at Berklee College of Music in Boston, built around a horn section and vocal harmonies. Their music sits between funk, soul and pop, with brass arrangements carrying much of the melodic weight and songs structured around hooks rather than extended jamming. The group has released music independently and built an audience largely through steady touring and online sharing of live performances.
