Cory Wong is a guitarist, bandleader and producer based in Minneapolis. He is widely known for his rhythm playing with Vulfpeck, where his clipped, percussive right hand became a defining part of the band's sound, and he has built a substantial solo catalogue alongside that work.
His own records and touring band lean on funk and jazz-funk, usually with horns, and he releases material at a fast pace, including live albums and a steady run of collaborations with players from across funk, jazz and pop.
