DUCKWRTH is the stage name of Jared Lee, a rapper and singer from South Central Los Angeles. His music moves freely between hip-hop, funk, punk-inflected energy and contemporary R&B, often within a single track, and he sings as readily as he raps. Early mixtapes and the project I'm Uugly drew attention for that restlessness, and he has continued to work across styles rather than settle into one.

He is known primarily as a live performer, with sets built around movement and audience interaction, and for a visual sensibility — bright colour, thrift-store styling — that carries through his artwork and videos.
