Eyes Set to Kill formed in Phoenix, Arizona in 2003 around sisters Alexia and Anissa Nicoli. The band emerged during the mid-2000s wave of post-hardcore and metalcore acts that built audiences through MySpace and constant touring, and their approach has always centred on the contrast between melodic clean singing and screamed vocals.
Their catalogue moves between alternative metal, screamo and more straightforwardly melodic rock, with guitar work that keeps one foot in metalcore riffing.
