Texas alt-metal band out of the turn-of-the-millennium nu-metal boom, done by 2003 — a short, loud run of heavy riffs and shouted-to-sung dynamics.

ünloco were an alternative metal band from Austin, Texas, active during the nu-metal era of the early 2000s. Fronted by vocalist Joey Duenas, they signed to Maverick Records and released the albums Healing and Becoming I before breaking up in 2003. Their sound combined down-tuned riffing and rhythmic, percussive verses with melodic choruses, alternating between shouted and sung vocals in the manner common to the scene they came up in. The band's run was short, and its recorded output remains a compact document of that period in American heavy rock.
