The crew who effectively launched festival trap out of Chicago's juke and footwork scene — rattling 808s with hometown rave DNA.

Flosstradamus formed in Chicago when Josh Young and Curt Cameruci began working together as a DJ duo, drawing on the city's juke and footwork traditions alongside hip-hop and indie edits. The pairing was included in URB magazine's Next 100 list in 2006, and the following summer they toured internationally with Chromeo on the Fancy Footwork Tour.

Their breakthrough came with a remix of Major Lazer's 'Original Don', which helped establish them as early architects of festival trap. Sets built around slow-tempo 808 patterns, sharp snare rolls and rap acapellas, marketed under the HDYNATION name, became a recognisable fixture at festivals built around dance and bass music.

The duo collaborated with artists including Kid Sister, Diplo, Three 6 Mafia's Juicy J, the Cool Kids and A-Trak, and played extensively on college campuses alongside acts such as Waka Flocka Flame and RJD2. They also appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the children's show Yo Gabba Gabba!, and in 2014 rigged a guerrilla WiFi network at SXSW to distribute a new track directly to fans.

Young and Cameruci released the single 'Came Up', featuring Post Malone and Key!, in mid-2016, before announcing later that year that they would pursue separate solo careers, with Young continuing as YehMe2. Cameruci kept the Flosstradamus name, releasing 'Back Again' with Waka Flocka Flame and Mayhem through Ultra Music in 2017, and has also toured as part of Dillstradamus, a live project formed with Dillon Francis.
