Richmond crossover-thrash featuring Municipal Waste members — blistering, funny, and violently fast, thirty-song sets over before you catch your breath. The bill's designated whiplash.

Iron Reagan formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2012, when vocalist Tony Foresta of Municipal Waste and drummer Ryan Parrish, who had just left Darkest Hour, finally started the band they had talked about since the 1990s. Phil Hall of Municipal Waste and Cannabis Corpse joined on guitar, alongside bassist Paul Burnette, also formerly of Darkest Hour. The name plays on Iron Maiden and Ronald Reagan.

The band plays crossover thrash in its most compressed form: songs often clock in under a minute, thrash riffing welded to hardcore punk tempos, shouted vocals and abrupt endings. Lyrically the songs mix political anger with deadpan humour, packing large numbers of tracks into short running times.

Their debut album, Worse Than Dead, arrived in 2013 through A389 Recordings, following a demo the previous year. The Tyranny of Will (2014) and Crossover Ministry continued the format, packing large numbers of short songs into brief running times; The Tyranny of Will reached number 22 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The band has also released several EPs and split releases alongside acts such as Exhumed.

Iron Reagan toured extensively through the 2010s, sharing bills with GWAR, Hatebreed and Whiplash among others, before going on hiatus in 2020. In October 2025 they announced their return with the original lineup intact, live sets still built around running through songs at speed with little pause between them.
