Luuk Van Dijk is a Dutch DJ and producer based in Amsterdam, working in a house and tech-house idiom built on stripped-back drum programming, dubby low end and long, patient arrangements. His records tend to favour groove and momentum over obvious hooks, with tracks designed to function as tools within a longer DJ set.
He runs his own label, Dansu Discs, which has released his material alongside work by other artists in a similar vein. As a DJ he plays extended, mixing-focused sets in clubs across Europe, and his sound sits closer to the darker, more percussive end of contemporary house than to its brighter, vocal-led side.
