Motionless In White formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2005, led by vocalist Chris Motionless. The band's music draws on metalcore structures but adds industrial and gothic elements — programmed synths, electronic percussion and clean, hook-driven choruses — alongside a visual presentation borrowed from horror cinema and goth subculture.
