Psychedelic Porn Crumpets formed in Perth, Australia in 2014, part of a wave of Australian bands working in heavy, garage-inflected psychedelic rock. Fronted by Jack McEwan, the group builds songs around fuzzed, fast-moving guitar riffs, shifting time signatures and dense layers of effects.
The band has released albums at a steady pace since its debut and has toured widely outside Australia, particularly in the UK and Europe, where their live shows are considerably louder and more abrasive than the recordings.
