Stacey Pullen is a Detroit DJ and producer associated with the city's second wave of techno, following Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. He recorded under a series of aliases including Kosmik Messenger, Silent Phase and Bango, and his productions favour deep, rolling grooves and gradually shifting layers rather than abrupt drops. As a DJ he is known for long, patiently constructed sets, and has worked steadily in Europe as well as the United States.
