Cello-trained Istanbul selector — sun-drenched, organic house that folds Mediterranean color into long, golden-hour sets, jet-set warmth with classical bones.

Carlita, born Carla Frayman in Istanbul to a Turkish father and Italian mother, started playing cello at eight and trained formally in a Turkish Conservatory before graduating from the Royal Academy of Music at sixteen. She later picked up guitar, bass, piano and drums, and as a child she competed on Turkey's Got Talent, reaching the semi-finals on national television.

She moved to Boston to study at Northeastern University, and it was there, making playlists for friends, that she found her way into DJing. A local club owner taught her to use CDJs and gave her a residency at Bijou nightclub; after graduating in 2017 she chose to pursue music full-time.

Her sets and productions sit in melodic and organic house, folding percussion, live instrumentation and Turkish and Mediterranean melodic material into extended arrangements that draw on psychedelic and Turkish folk sources across house, downtempo and melodic techno.

She has become a regular presence in Ibiza and the wider international club circuit, tending toward long sets rather than short peak-time slots, and has played Coachella, Burning Man, Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Sonar, Cercle and Circoloco. In 2023 she co-founded the platform Senza Fine with DJ Tennis, joining music, fashion and visual art, and in 2024 released her debut album Sentimental on Ninja Tune's Counter Records.
