Gryffin is Dan Griffith, a producer and multi-instrumentalist from the San Francisco Bay Area. Classically trained on piano and also a guitarist, he first drew attention through remixes before moving into original material in the melodic-house and dance-pop area, generally built around guest vocalists and clear song structures.
His debut album Gravity appeared in 2019, followed by Alive in 2023. Rather than performing strictly as a DJ, he tends to bring instruments onstage, playing piano and guitar parts live over his productions.
