Fujii Kaze is a singer, songwriter and pianist from Satoshō, a small town in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. He first drew attention posting piano-and-vocal covers online before releasing original material, and his songs combine soul and R&B phrasing with pop songwriting, often built around his own piano playing. He frequently writes and sings in the Okayama dialect, which gives his lyrics a conversational, regional cast unusual in mainstream J-pop. "Shinunoga E-Wa" found an audience well beyond Japan, circulating widely online and drawing listeners across Asia and elsewhere. He performs both in full-band arrangements and alone at the piano.
