Gracie Abrams is a Los Angeles singer-songwriter who began releasing music in the late 2010s, first drawing attention through spare, self-recorded songs posted online. Her writing tends toward the confessional and conversational, built around close-mic'd vocals, plain-spoken detail and the small aftermaths of relationships rather than choruses designed to carry.

Her early EPs kept arrangements to guitar or piano and voice, and later records widened the palette with drums, layered vocals and fuller production while keeping the same soft, near-spoken delivery. She has worked closely with producer Aaron Dessner, and her material sits between folk-leaning singer-songwriter tradition and contemporary pop.
