Kiwi jr. is a Toronto indie rock band fronted by singer and lyricist Jeremy Gaudet. The group plays fast, jangling guitar pop with a loose, unfussy feel, drawing on the tradition of Pavement and other 1990s American college rock as much as on Canadian indie.

The songs are mostly built on chiming guitars and a steady, propulsive rhythm section, with Gaudet's flat, half-spoken delivery carrying lyrics packed with proper nouns, offhand jokes and small narrative details. The band has released records through Sub Pop, and their albums tend to be short, quick-moving collections rather than sprawling statements.
