The Ergs! drummer-turned-frontman, a walking encyclopedia of pop-punk hooks — prolific, beloved, and seemingly playing five sets everywhere at Fest.

Mikey Erg is a New Jersey punk musician best known as the drummer and a principal songwriter in The Ergs!, the pop-punk trio he formed while still a teenager. Since that band's initial run he has played in and toured with a long list of punk groups, frequently as a drummer for hire, and has recorded under his own name as a singer-songwriter. His writing leans on short, melodic songs with clear debts to 1970s power pop and 1990s pop-punk, delivered without much studio polish.
