Dog Party is a duo from Sacramento, California, made up of sisters Gwendolyn and Lucy Giles, who began playing together in 2009 while still in their early teens. Lucy plays drums and Gwendolyn plays guitar, with both sharing vocals, and the arrangement has stayed a two-piece throughout.

Their songs are short, fast and melodic, drawing on the Ramones and on 1990s pop-punk and garage rock, and the sisters' close vocal harmonies are a consistent feature. The band has released a series of albums on independent labels and has toured widely, including support slots with older punk acts who took an interest in the group.
