The Raging Nathans are a punk band from Dayton, Ohio, active since 2008. They play fast, melodic punk in the vein of the 1990s pop-punk and skate-punk records that came before them, built from short songs, blunt lyrics and choruses meant to move at speed.

Their sound sits at the point where melodic punk rock meets hardcore, favoring directness over polish and keeping songs tight rather than sprawling. It is a formula the band has stuck to for well over a decade, refining it rather than reinventing it.

The group is closely tied to Rad Girlfriend Records, the Dayton label run by singer Josh Goldman, and has kept up a steady output of albums, EPs and split releases with other bands in the same underground network.

Non-stop touring has been as much a part of the band's identity as its records, with a DIY approach that keeps them on the road and putting out music at a pace few of their peers match.
