Noturnall was assembled in São Paulo by singer Thiago Bianchi, who had previously fronted Shaman. The band plays heavy progressive metal with keyboard-led arrangements, extended instrumental sections and Bianchi's high, clean tenor over the top. Their records and live sets have drawn in guest vocalists and players from the wider metal world, and Bianchi handles the between-song talking directly with the crowd.
