The Brook & The Bluff came together in Birmingham, Alabama in 2016, growing out of an acoustic duo before expanding into a full band. The group is built around layered vocal harmony, clean electric guitar and unhurried rhythm-section grooves, drawing on indie rock, pop and soul in roughly equal measure.
The band later based itself in Nashville and has built its following largely through steady touring and streaming rather than radio, with a catalogue of albums and EPs released independently.
