Drag Race season eleven winner and a genuinely strange performer, who backs the contortion with actual records — oddity as artistry.

Yvie Oddly is the drag persona of Jovan Bridges, born in Denver in 1993. She did gymnastics and other physical activities as a child until being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome at fifteen, after which she took up musical theatre instead. She attended East High School and the Auraria Campus, both in Denver, and began doing drag in 2012 after a workshop on campus led by Drag Race alum Venus D'lite.

She built up through Denver's bar circuit, performing at Tracks and winning the Ultimate Queen of Denver pageant in 2015, before joining the cast of Drag Nation, opening for Mya at PrideFest and appearing in Adore Delano's "Negative Nancy" video. She applied for RuPaul's Drag Race three times before being cast.

She won the eleventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2019, standing out for conceptual costuming and a contortion-based physical style connected to her Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which she has spoken about publicly, and later returned for the all-winners seventh season of All Stars in 2022.

Alongside touring with the Werq the World concert tour since 2019, she records her own music, working mostly in hip-hop and club-pop modes, and released her debut album, Drag Trap, in 2020. She has also made a web series about repurposing thrift-store finds into wearable art, and published a biography, co-written with Michael Bach, that became a bestseller.

Her stage shows combine rapping and lip-sync with the body-bending choreography that made her name on television, leaning deliberately toward the grotesque and the surreal rather than the polished glamour more common in televised drag.
