Ned Russin's post-Title Fight project — short, synth-scarred punk songs that hit and then get out of the way, minimalism by a writer who knows what to cut.

Ned Russin sang and played bass in the Kingston, Pennsylvania hardcore band Title Fight before turning Glitterer into his own outlet. The project began as a solo endeavour, built from bass, drum machine and synthesizer, with songs often finished in under two minutes.

The writing stays compressed: repeated melodic figures, blunt lyrics, arrangements pared to a few elements, though the tunes keep the melodic sense that ran through Russin's earlier band. Glitterer grew from a one-man recording project into a full band for both touring and studio work.

Glitterer's debut album, Looking Through the Shades, arrived on ANTI- Records in 2019, following a self-titled EP two years earlier. A second album, Life Is Not a Lesson, came out in 2021, and the Fantasy Four EP followed in 2022, written after the deaths of Iron Age's Wade Allison and Power Trip's Riley Gale.

Rationale, released in 2024, was the first Glitterer album made with a full band rather than largely assembled by Russin alone, featuring Nicole Dao on keyboards alongside guitarist Connor Morin and drummer Jonas Farah. A fourth album, erer, followed in 2025 on Purple Circle Records, with Colin Gorman and Robin Zeijlon joining on guitar and drums.
