Glitterer

1 festival played

Ned Russin's post-Title Fight project — short, synth-scarred punk songs that hit and then get out of the way, minimalism by a writer who knows what to cut.

Glitterer is the project of Ned Russin, who played bass and sang in the Kingston, Pennsylvania hardcore band Title Fight. It began as a solo endeavour built on bass, drum machine and synthesizer, with songs often running well under two minutes, and later expanded into a full band for live performances and recordings. The writing is deliberately compressed — repeated melodic figures, blunt lyrics, arrangements stripped to a few elements — but retains the melodic sense of Russin's earlier work. Records have appeared through ANTI- and Dead Oceans-adjacent independent channels, and the project has kept a steady release pace since the late 2010s.
