The duo two Fever 333 members started after that band ended — hardcore, electronics and no genre loyalty whatsoever.
House of Protection is the project of Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta, who played together in the Los Angeles group Fever 333 — Harrison on guitar, Improta on drums. Improta is also the drummer in the instrumental band Night Verses, and both players carry that background of technical, physically busy musicianship into the duo.
Their music pulls hardcore aggression together with programmed beats, distorted electronics and unexpectedly direct hooks, often switching between those modes inside a single song rather than settling into one style. Live, the two split vocal and instrumental duties between them, and the performances lean on the same restless energy that shaped their previous bands.
