Liverpool songwriter whose terrace-anthem folk went from pub singalongs to arenas without losing the crowd that got him there.

Jamie Webster is a singer and guitarist from Liverpool who first built an audience through BOSS Night, the matchday events tied to Liverpool FC supporter culture, where his reworked terrace songs and covers were filmed and shared widely online. He moved from those pub and club rooms to his own headline shows and released the albums We Get By and Moments.

His songs are plainly written and chord-driven, dealing with work, family, the city and local politics, and are pitched at mass singalong — the choruses are designed to be taken over by the room. He worked as an electrician before music became full-time.
