Sam Russo is a singer-songwriter from Haverhill in Suffolk, England, who performs largely solo with an acoustic guitar. His songs sit between folk and punk, built around plain-spoken storytelling about small-town life, work, friendship and drinking, delivered in a hoarse voice with choruses designed to be sung back.

He has released records through Red Scare Industries and has spent much of his career touring in punk circles, playing basements, small clubs and support slots rather than trading on studio polish.
