Water From Your Eyes is the Brooklyn duo of Rachel Brown and Nate Amos. Amos handles most of the production and instrumentation, building tracks from repeating loops, drum machines, guitar and abrupt structural shifts, while Brown delivers lyrics in a flat, largely unaffected voice that sits oddly and effectively against the noise around it.
The pair have moved between synth-pop, drone, noise and something closer to dance music across their releases, often within a single song. They signed to Matador and released Everyone's Crushed in 2023. Both members also record separately, Amos as This Is Lorelei and Brown as Thanks for Coming.
